Attendance Guidelines.
Punctuality is the foundation of success. At GPS Budania, we maintain strict adherence to attendance policies to ensure uninterrupted academic growth.
Summer Timings
April to October
- Pre-Primary (Nursery - UKG)08:00 AM - 12:30 PM
- Class 1 to 1207:30 AM - 01:30 PM
- Office Hours07:30 AM - 02:30 PM
Winter Timings
November to March
- Pre-Primary (Nursery - UKG)09:00 AM - 01:30 PM
- Class 1 to 1208:30 AM - 02:30 PM
- Office Hours08:30 AM - 03:30 PM
Mandatory Attendance Rules
75% Mandatory
As per CBSE norms, a minimum of 75% attendance is compulsory. Students falling short will be barred from appearing in final examinations.
Punctuality
Students must arrive 10 minutes before the morning assembly. Latecomers will not be allowed to enter the premises after the gates are closed.
Absence Fine
Uninformed absence for more than 3 consecutive days will result in a daily fine. Absence for 10 days will lead to the student's name being struck off the rolls.
Leave Application Process
We understand emergencies happen. Please follow the correct protocol to apply for leave to ensure it is approved and recorded properly.
Written Application
All leaves must be applied for in advance via a written application signed by parents/guardians, addressed to the Principal.
Medical Leave
If a student is absent due to illness for more than two days, a certified medical fitness certificate must be submitted upon returning.
Exam Days
No leave will be granted during Unit Tests, Half-Yearly, or Annual Examinations except for severe medical emergencies.
